“The survival of Montenegro is endangered. People must understand that Montenegro is an independent state, a member of NATO, and that it is the country that has come the furthest on the European path. Also, it must be understood that turning the wheel back is not possible only by early elections and that this would produce terrible consequences for Montenegro and its citizens. All this has shown that there are terrible internal tensions that must be calmed down politically so that the change of government in the future never calls into question the survival of Montenegro itself”, says the leader of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina Nenad Canak for Pobjeda. He claims that civil Montenegro will not give in to pressure.
“Religious processions changed into politics and you can’t be surprised that the church’s enthronement event was turned into a political performance – because it was not a question of the Serbian Orthodox Church and its religious rites in Cetinje, but a question of demonstrations of political domination of anti-Montenegrin forces currently leading Montenegro”, Canak stresses.
“There is an obvious strong interest of Moscow with the cooperation of the Serbian political apparatus and several Montenegrin political organizations in power that are ready to give up Montenegrin statehood and its European perspective for their most personal interests”, Canak concludes.
