A decision on unified local elections can be made only if there is a general political agreement and if it is conducted in accordance with the correct legal procedure. Everything else is self-will, which, contrary to the Parliament Speaker’s statements, will cause additional divisions and political conflicts, says Borislav Banovic, SDP’s deputy leader.
“None of these conditions have been met for the postponement of the elections in Cetinje, Mojkovac and Petnjica. There is no consent and there is no legal basis”, Banovic points out.
