Comparative data on the minimum salary, suggested in Minister Milojko Spajic’s document ‘Europe Now’, mention the countries of the region, including Republika Srpska.
“By increasing the minimum salary, Montenegro has been ranked fourth in the region in terms of the minimum net wage since October 1. Namely, the highest minimum net salary in the Republic of Croatia is €453, while in Republika Srpska the minimum salary amounts to €276. The Republic of Serbia has somewhat lower minimum labor price amounting to €275, Northern Macedonia €243, while in Albania it amounts to €247. In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the minimum net salary amounts to €208,” the document says.

You don’t have to be an expert to know that Republika Srpska is Bosnia’s entity, so it’s surprising to see that it’s mentioned along with other independent countries, such as Serbia, North Macedonia, Croatia and Albania.
It’s unclear what message Minister Spajic wanted to send, but he’s definitely acquitted with the fact that Republika Srpska is Bosnia’s entity, not an independent country.
