At the initiative of Krivokapic, the agenda which had 15 points, was extended with a new topic: proposed decision on education of the committee to monitor and control the project of building the Bar – Boljare highway.
However, the fact that the Economy Committee postponed the debate on this issue two days before, Krivokapic’s maneuver is seen as a calculated move to achieve as many delays before his reportedly certain dismissal.
Pobjeda daily recently wrote that the DPS, together with the Bosniak Party, Forca, and HGI, will seek in today’s session of the Assembly that the first item on the agenda be discussion on the dismissal of the President of the Parliament. This initiative would be formally submitted to the Assembly by Vice President and head of the parliamentary group of DPS, Milutin Simovic.
The ruling majority, however, believe that, with the aim of obstruction, Krivokapic could invoke Article 94 of the Rulebook, according to which all new items on the agenda are listed in the order determined by the President of the Assembly.
This is the same article Krivokapic invoked on March 4th at a session of the Collegium, when it was decided that the matter of his dismissal be postponed and included on the bottom of the Agenda.
No need for speed
However, the ruling party will not seek to rush the Agenda, a source told Pobjeda. The government will not withdraw legislative proposals in order to fire Krivokapic as soon as possible.
Instead, it has reduced planned discussions with a small number of speakers and discussants from the ruling majority.
“We expect everything to be over soon, in two or three days”, said a source from the DPS.
The reason for this “benevolence”, they explained, is to not upset negotiations with the opposition on the creation of conditions for fair and free elections.
