Ten to Eight – Dritan Believes in DF

By Ljubomir Filipovic, CdM observer

Good morning. You’re reading a daily contextual review of the news the marked the previous day.

Dritan believes in DF

Since the start of these talks who is going to form a coalition with whom and whether URA is going to change things and accept the minority support of the DPS, I’ve warned that Abazovic cannot do it despite the will of a part of the party’s leaders. Even though Abazovic promised that all options are possible, he hasn’t done anything to prepare the public for a turnaround. To believe that he can make some unpredictable and courageous move, and rely the future of the state on that, is insane. This last statement of his that he believes in an agreement with the DF, says that there’s essentially no other option for him. Why so much servility towards this extremist movement is a question for some future government and some future security structure.

Budget games

The Parliament of Montenegro received the 2022 draft budget law and it’s going to be discussed in December, said the Speaker of the Parliament, Aleksa Becic: “We’ve just received the 2022 Draft Budget Law, along with accompanying proposals for the law. Having in mind that the acts must pass certain procedure for a certain period of time, we’ll discuss them at the session of the Parliament of Montenegro in December, and, I believe, adopt them all,” he tweeted.

Although Nebojsa Medojevic harshly criticizes both the budget and Minister Spajic, no one takes it seriously.

On the questions of Instagram users whether “he expects the DF’s support having in mind that Medojevic says they won’t back him”, Minister Spajic replied: “Of course, because I’m sure that the DF MPs take care of the citizens and that they want a better standard of living for them. I don’t take Mr Medojevic seriously, it’s just a part of his political performance.”

Democrats: We’re not the DF

Although the Democrats, because of their games with the DF and the Church of the Stars of Change, have become an undesirable contact for external partners in a very short time, they’re still struggling to prove that they are not the same as the DF. Although they are well aware that external partners closed their doors for them, they accuse only the DPS of equating them with the Front.

The madness of nepotism

The son of Branko Radulovic, who had to accept the position of deputy director of the Airport of Montenegro, instead of taking care of the management, is making a promotional video and is most likely paid from the ACG funds for it, defending the Montenegrin sky in his father’s style.

Indictment against Ljoro Nrekic

Yesterday, Special Prosecutor, Sanja Jovicevic, filed an indictment to the High Court in Podgorica against the former President of the Municipality of Ulcinj, Ljoro Nrekic, and his associates for illegal recruitment, Pobjeda daily writes. In a statement for the RTCG portal, Nrekic said that they did not do any damage to the Municipality, and that he did not feel guilty. In addition to Nrekic, indictments have been filed against former Ulcinj Municipal Assembly Speaker Ilir Capuni, Budget and Finance Secretary, Sead Osmanovic, former Communal Services and Environmental Protection Secretary, Mustafa Goran, Protection and Rescue Service Chief, Saubih Mehmeti, and Communal Police Secretary, Milazim Muzim.

That’s all for today. Have a nice day.
