The Leader of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Rasko Konjevic, has called on Prime Minister, Zdravko Krivokapić, and a technical government to “act in line with the Constitution and law”.
“I call on the PM and the technical government to act in line with good practice and perform their duties in line with the Constitution and law,” Mr Konjevic notes.
He also adds that Montenegro’s President, Milo Djukanovic, is now given a 30-day deadline to appoint a new prime minister and if he fails to do so, early elections are most likely to happen.
The government run by Zdravko Krivokapic has fallen exactly 14 months after being elected on 4 December 2020. Mr Krivokapic didn’t win the confidence vote on 4 February 2022.
