The Agreement of SDP and URA on parliamentary support and political priorities of the 43rd Government shows full and unambiguous commitment to harmonization of policy with EU and NATO, values enshrined in the Constitution of Montenegro and the need to unblock the EU integration process.
Also, as stated in the document published by the CdM, the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is clearly condemned, and the signatories of the Agreement oblige to propose in Parliament the adoption of a special act – the Resolution on Russian Aggression.
The obligation of consistent implementation of all EU, NATO and UN policies in relation to this issue is also stated.
Within the basic principles of cooperation, in addition to adherence to the constitutional values of the civil and secular state, the item related to anti-fascism and opposition to historical revisionism is especially interesting.
Strengthening cooperation within the NATO alliance of which Montenegro is a member is also an explicit obligation and one of the fundamental principles of the Government.
