“We must not allow the issue of genocide to be relativized, forgotten, put aside”, PM Dritan Abazovic has stated in Srebrenica.
“I think it is the duty of all delegations, especially countries in the region, to be here on 11 July.
The delegation of the Government of Montenegro has come in a large number. Six members of the Government have come, we will be there every year. We can’t do much, but we can come and pay our respects to the victims of the genocide”, said Abazovic, answering questions from journalists.
When asked to what extent the denial of genocide by individual countries of the region disrupts the politics and regional cooperation that we all strive for, Abazovic pointed out that it “definitely disrupts”.
“Policies create everything, policies create evil and kill people, and armies execute them in the name of politics”, PM Abazovic has stated.
