The way in which companies from EPCG Group (Montenegro’s power supplier – EPCG, Montenegro’s power distribution system – CEDIS and Pljevlja’s Rudnik Uglja coal mining company) are managed leads to the complete collapse of the energy system of Montenegro, warns Dragica Sekulic (DPS), who was the Minister of Economy from 2016 to December 2020. According to her, at the moment, the EPCG Group companies are €100m in the red.
“I believe that the results of the current management of companies from EPCG Group should be dealt with by the Prosecutor’s Office and that there are elements of a criminal offense in the way they manage these state-owned companies”, Sekulic has told Pobjeda.
