Speaking in a TV show ‘Hej Sloveni’ aired on Gradska RTV, the former chief special prosecutor, Milivoje Katnic, said that Mr Abazovic was tasked with dismantling all institutions in Montenegro, which he tried to do. In May this year, in the biggest establishment of his government, a decision was made to start with tobacco smuggling and thus generate revenues for the state budget, but also fill their own pockets.
“One of the managers, a political director of that entity in Geneva, contacted certain people and agreed on tobacco smuggling,” he claimed.
Tobacco was found in the Port of Bar, and was stored in line with law, as their agreement was about to be realized.
“The incredible National Security Agency employees, who finally could express their competencies when Mr Kentera took over as their head, kept monitoring the situation by following the inputs. They got legal authorizations, and activities were carried out secretly, having in mind the status of people involved,” Mr Katnic explains.
After that, certain police services found out about it and informed the establishment which organized the entire action.
