Vladimir Mandic and Dane Sijan banned from entering MNE

Vladimir Mandić

Last night, at the border crossing Metaljka, near the town of Pljevlja, police halted the former handball players Vladimir Mandic’s and Dane Sijan’s bid to reach Montenegro, handing them the decision of the National Police which suggested the two were banned from entering Montenegro.

The decision was made after it was determined that there had been national security threats known to the ANB, so both Mr Mandic and Mr Sijan were banned from entering the country.

As part of the Serbian media reported, Mr Mandic was explaining to police that he had a work permit and residence in Montenegro, but police couldn’t allow his entry, telling that they had to act in line with the order. He also told that he possessed assets in Montenegro, and that his family was there, concluding that it was obvious that Milo Djukanovic still ruled Montenegro.
