The average salary (gross) in September in Montenegro amounted to €887, while the average salary without taxes and contributions (net) was €718, says the MONSTAT Statistics Office.
“The average (net) salary in September remained at the same level compared to August, while the average (net) salary in September 2022, compared to the same month of the previous year, recorded a growth of 34.7%”, according to MONSTAT.
If it is taken into account that consumer prices in September compared to August recorded a growth of 1.4%, it follows that real wages for the same period recorded a drop of 1.4%.
Average earnings (gross) in Q3 of 2022 compared to Q2 of 2022 recorded a growth of 1.3%.
