Since the shortening of the Parliament mandate is rather unlikely to happen, the Democratic Front (DF) now has a new offer for colleagues from the parliamentary majority.
“To jointly agree today or tomorrow on convening an early session of the Parliament and restore the parliamentary majority. The first item on the agenda should be the election of a new government, the second item would be the law on local self-government”, said one of the DF leaders, Milan Knezevic, in last night’s Nacisto talk-show on Vijesti TV.
He confirmed that the leader of NOVA Andrija Mandic would be DF’s presidential candidate if Milo Djukanovic is the candidate of the Democratic Party of Socialists for the elections scheduled for 19 March.
“DF has a candidate, I know his name. We have already collected 10,000 signatures”, stated Knezevic.
He is convinced that their candidate will run for president in the second round with the DPS candidate, whom he believes will be Milo Djukanovic.
“I’m not in the game”, added Knezevic.
He said that DF is ready to commit in writing to support any candidate in the second round competing against the DPS candidate, but he also expects the same in case their candidate enters the second round.
