How parties parasitize and thus destroy Montenegro
There is a conspiracy against Montenegro. I will surprise you when I say that it is not the most dangerous conspiracy that has been brewing for years in Belgrade’s taverns and palaces. No, the most harmful conspiracy was hatched earlier and is imprinted in our political-social DNA. It’s a partocratic conspiracy that sabotages Montenegro at every step.
It didn’t all start with DPS. Socialist Yugoslavia, that is, the time of its decay, brought to the surface all the imperfections of the socialist one-party system. The system, where the line between the party and the state was erased, gave birth to systems in which the lines between the party and the state were erased. The only thing that mattered was to take a position in the elections and then play the role of the new League of Communists, regardless of ideological signs.
Apart from ideological and party pluralism, the new era also brought the fact that ownership of the means of production passed into private hands. First, the party fathers, where they exercised power, transferred the means of production into their own hands and the hands of their closest relatives through corruption and theft. Then, after they saw that they did not know how to make money, they started reselling to others and third parties, while they blocked or irreversibly destroyed a part of the resources.
Collectivism and collectivist worldview is what makes us proud. Mediocracy eating meritocracy. Averaging. Vito Nikolic explained the mentality of crabs in Montenegro a long time ago when he said that all flowers would remain headless in order to be in harmony with the grass. And this is not about a self-indulgent belief that someone is more special than another by birth. The flowers here are not the most beautiful and talented, but only those who work and are ready to live from their work. While grass is made up of those who are constantly waiting and expecting something from the state. They take a membership card and stand in line for a job, for a favorable loan, for a combination and a rigged tender.
Now many repeat, like parrots, that socialism was the golden age of Montenegro, without realizing that in it, at its base, there was collectivism that made slaves out of some and the ruling class out of others – the red bourgeoisie.
Collectivism played a great role in times of crisis. Empathy and solidarity were important here. Not solidarity imposed by boot and gun, but the voluntary one – the patriotic one. The time after the Second World War, labor actions and mass education, the industrialization of the country, the emancipation of minorities and women, were the positive achievements of socialism. But they would also happen evolutionarily under capitalism. They would just be deprived of the aforementioned weights of collectivism. They would be deprived of the trauma of the dictatorship of the proletariat.
Today, the red bourgeoisie has been replaced by members of the political class – in suits and company cars. They can be found from the local level to the president of the state. Unlike socialism, they have no factories, no real scientific institutes, no serious universities, no publishing companies, no large fleet of transoceanic ships. All they have is administration. Mere rule of paper and offices. It’s a meaningless machinery whose task is to complicate the process for those who work and earn income, in order to tax them at every step – either legally or illegally – and thus live off their work. This is an example of the man from Kolasin who was told to waive his right to appeal, so that they would give him a work permit. An official says later – they worked for the benefit of the state. And in fact, they worked in favor of the partocratic leviathan Frankenstein composed of a bunch of party members and activists who suck the life out of Montenegro.
And a bunch of people who do not think shout “tax progressively”, living in the illusion that the state should be our guardian, and that it will create a better life with the money collected through taxes. Nothing screams “self-sabotage” more than that. We need businessmen, people who need someone to show them that they can create the most comfortable life for themselves. Young people who need to be taught that they will make better money selling potatoes and fish than selling cocaine – with less worry and risk of ending up in prison. And not only to teach them, but also to free them from the burdens of bureaucracy. We just need to decimate the parasitic partocratic legions, reduce state administration to a minimum.
But that requires an average voter who is able to distinguish a populist from an honest story. The one who is confident in him(her)self and his/her work and who cannot be deceived and lied to by a man in a suit who has never earned a cent in his life on the free market.
