The average salary (gross) in September 2023 in Montenegro was €998, while the average salary without taxes and contributions (net) was €800. Average (net) earnings in September compared to August recorded an increase of 0.1%, while average (net) earnings in September 2023 compared to the same month of the previous year recorded an increase of 11.4%, MONSTAT Statistical Office has stated.
“If it is taken into account that consumer prices in September compared to August recorded an increase of 0.8%, it follows that real earnings for the same period recorded a drop of 0.7%. The average salary (gross) in the Q3 compared to the Q2 recorded an increase of 1%”, MONSTAT adds.
