Where Is Dritan’s Relaxation and How Is It Doing?

Good morning! Abazovic is increasingly nervous and shows his frustration through inarticulate public appearances and the placement of SKY application transcripts through obscure pro-Russian media in Montenegro. The day before yesterday, he almost had a fight in Parliament, only a month after leaving office.

Where is Dritan’s relaxation and how is it doing?

Dritan and URA are going through a big drama. Losing power brings with it many disappointments. When people step down from office, they first see that many did not respect and appreciate them not because of themselves, but precisely because of the office they performed. Descending from the throne under the spotlight brings depression. All attention and support suddenly disappear and an abstinence crisis occurs, which manifests itself in addiction to government as in any other addiction. These are not things that man consciously chooses, that’s how our organisms are set.

Thus, the nervousness and the incident between Abazovic and Zirojevic should be observed as one of the symptoms of the crisis after the loss of power. Abazovic is still in the denial phase. He and Adzic still boastfully walk and speak in Parliament. Because it is still early for the body to forget its function and power. This is called muscle memory. Then you also have the moment from Rozaje where the security guard was carrying Dritan’s umbrella while walking down the street. The leader of the opposition, like the Chinese emperor, cannot carry an umbrella himself, but a man who receives a salary for it carries it for him. Dritan is not the first with such manners, I knew some who, long after leaving office, hired party activists to drive them in their private cars and to open the door for them when they went to the market and to the store. From the state-owned Audi to a private Megane, but the driver Perisic is there to hold the umbrella, the sac and open the door.

Dritan is no longer as relaxed as he was during the one-and-a-half-year leadership of the state, and a total of three years in power. He is not as relaxed as he was with state finances. He spent like never before – on travel, on hiring activists, on everything except infrastructure. That is why Parliament had to vote on the revised budget and borrowing by the end of the year. The government plans to borrow between €150m and €200m by the end of the year in order to service all obligations.

However, one should be honest and notice the disagreement. Vuk Maras critically commented on that decision of the new majority and saw borrowings from domestic banks for the purpose of paying pensions as continuity with what Minister Damjanovic was doing, and for which he was criticized precisely by Europe Now Movement (PES).

The government is still getting organized, the priority of all priorities was the census, another hot potato that Abazovic threw into its hands. The position of the opposition is still not clear, although the prime minister signed an agreement with it. They are asking for a delay of a couple of days, because information is coming from Monstat itself that enumerators are missing. It seems that there could be problems with the implementation.

But let’s go back to Dritan. He’s losing patience. Information from the SKY app is leaking everywhere. He announced in Parliament that these days Vijesti, Borba and IN4S would publish information bit by bit in accordance with the political agenda. Andrija Mandic told him from his comfortable statesman’s position to be patient, just as he is probably telling this to his party friend Milo Bozovic. It’s not fair – Andrija tucked into office, started traveling and meeting with colleagues, including those from “so-called” Kosovo, as they like to say. And Milo should be patient in Spuz. And Dritan should bear with the fact that he can no longer yell at everyone in Parliament.

That’s it for today. We wish you a pleasant rest of the day.
