Leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Danijel Zivkovic has said that 3,300 people from the Serb Republic and Serbia have the right to vote in Podgorica, and that the DPS has irrefutable evidence that a “Belgrade scenario” is being prepared in the capital city for the elections scheduled for 29 September 2024.
He has added that it is not about misinformation or raising tensions before the elections.
“We have precise evidence and the names of those involved. A significant number of them have already bought tickets to come by plane to Podgorica on 29 September”, Zivkovic has stressed.
He has pointed out that he will inform the prosecutor’s office about everything, expecting the most urgent response.
When asked which political parties he has been referring to, Zivkovic has not answered.
Zivkovic claims that according to all relevant research, the parliamentary majority from the state level does not have the majority to win the elections in Podgorica.
When asked how he comments on the announcement by Parliament Speaker and leader of the New Serbian Democracy Andrija Mandic that he will put in the procedure amendments to the Law on Montenegrin Citizenship, Zivkovic points out that Mandic and Milan Knezevic want to redefine what happened in 2006.
Zivkovic has no information why the DPS members at Podgorica Assembly Sonja Radojicic, Aleksa Bastac, Milos Raznatovic and Stefan Vuletic left the DPS.
