How Podgorica residents voted

According to the preliminary results of the Center for Democratic Transition (CDT), the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) won 24,309 votes in the Podgorica elections (29.95%), which is 19 seats. The coalition of the Europe Now Movement and the Democrats won 17,672 votes (21.77%), which is 14 seats, according to the CDT analysis.

The Coalition for the Future of Podgorica received 16,361 votes, which represents 20.16%, i.e. 13 seats in the Parliament of the Capital City. Fourth in the number of votes is the coalition For a Better Podgorica, consisting of the Movement for Podgorica and URA, for which 8,538 citizens voted, i.e. 10.52%, which gives them 6 seats in the local parliament.

The European Alliance won 4,411 votes (5.4%, 3 seats in the Assembly of the Capital City), followed by Turnabout with 2,705 votes (3.33%, 2 seats in the Podgorica parliament). The Party of European Progress won 2,504 votes (3.08%, 2 seats in the local assembly).

According to the preliminary results, the Forward movement was close to the electoral threshold. Namely, it won 2,233 votes (2.75%). It was followed by the Bosniak Party with 953 votes (1.17%), the Montenegrin European Party with 573 votes (0.71%), while the Podgorica ticket won 515 votes (0.63%). The Tenants’ Movement was supported by 226 citizens (0.28%), and the Montenegrin Civic Action was voted by 174 voters (0.21%).
