Minister of Health Vojislav Simun has said at an extraordinary press conference on the occasion of the death of Drita Tafa who recently gave birth the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG), that they had taken all measures to expose the entire process of the patient’s treatment. The point, he says, is to determine the responsibility of everyone in the chain.
The Ministry of Health will conduct an independent investigation, but as he said, an expert commission will also be formed.
“The goal of the commission is to have an unbiased approach when locating this problem”, said Simun.
He adds that he is in contact with the state prosecutor’s office and expects the forensic medical team to do its part.
On Saturday evening, 35-year-old Drita Tafa died at the KCCG. She of sepsis after giving birth to a child.
