Statehood Day – July 13, 14 & 15 are the days off

Based on the Law on Public and Other Holidays, July 13 – Statehood Day will be celebrated on 13 and 14 July. Having in mind that the holiday starts on Sunday, the non-working days are July 14 & 15 (Monday and Tuesday, respectively), the Ministry of Labor and Social Dialogue has stated.

“State bodies, local state bodies, public enterprises and institutions, as well as other bodies performing affairs of public interest shall ensure the performance of tasks, particularly those that might, if interrupted, cause harmful consequences for citizens or the state,” it is said in a statement.

In addition, the Ministry of Economic Development reminds all traders they should respect the law stipulating that stores must be closed during the Statehood Day.
