Zeta to see major infrastructure investment as school, boulevard and stadium projects move forward

The Montenegrin Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Public Works have been planning to implement several infrastructure projects in Botun, a settlement in the Municipality of Zeta. The projects include the renovation of the Botun branch of ‘Vladika Danilo’ primary school, the construction of a boulevard-type roadway and the development of sports infrastructure through the construction of a football stadium with accompanying facilities. The activities have been agreed upon in cooperation with the capital city administration, following an initiative launched by Podgorica Mayor, Sasa Mujovic.

According to information released after an electronic session of the Government, the planned projects form part of a coordinated institutional approach aimed at improving public infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for residents of the area.

“The planned activities represent part of a coordinated institutional approach to improving public infrastructure and public facilities, with the goal of creating better living conditions for citizens, improving road connectivity, developing educational capacities, strengthening sports infrastructure and creating conditions for further infrastructural and functional development of this area,” it is said in a document adopted by the Montenegrin government.

One of the key goals is the improve educational infrastructure.
