Milan Knezevic’s girlfriend questioned

Tamara Magdelinic was questioned as a witness in Belgrade last week within the investigation on the plotting terrorist attacks on the eve of parliamentary elections on 16 October 2016, Pobjeda writes.

According to the newspaper, Magdelinic was questioned in the Special Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade. Montenegrin chief special prosecutor Milivoje Katnic attended the hearing. Magdelinic’s statement was taken on the basis of Montenegrin investigators’ letters rogatory.

Magdelinic has been in a three year long relationship with one of Democratic Front (DF) leaders, Milan Knezevic, who was questioned on 1 March on suspicion of being a part of the logistics network for preparing several terrorist attacks after the closure of polling stations.

Magdelinic was questioned about a conversation with Knezevic in which he mentioned former prime minister Milo Djukanovic. Knezevic confirmed that his girlfriend testified as a witness in the Special Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade.

“Tamara Magdelinic was heard on 2 March. It is another unsuccessful and brutal form of pressure against me and the Democratic Front. My girlfriend is a Serbian citizen and she was questioned only because of being in a relationship with me,” Knezevic said.

Currently 25 persons are under Special Prosecutor’s Office’s investigation on suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organisation and plotting terrorist attacks.

Mihailo Cadjenovic, DF’s driver, who has been in custody since 7 February, as well as DF leaders Milan Knezevic and Andrija Mandic.
