Renovated Hotel Aleksandar

Renovated Hotel Aleksandar was opened tonight. It was adapted from former hotel of 3* category, to a hotel with 187 rooms and apartments of 4*. It is promoted as the first Blue Star – family club hotel.

Second phase of adaptation was worth 5 million euros, and Hotel Aleksandar was enriched with a pool.

Celebration was attended by Prime Minister Dusko Markovic, who took a tour of the rooms.

Budvanska Rivijera also includes tourist village Slovenska plaza, hotels Mogren, Palas and Castellastva.

Management of Budvanska Rivijera said that 2016 was one of the most successful business year with a revenue of over 19 million euros and profit of 1.012.356 euros, which is an increase of 84% compared to 2015.

It was said that the data from pre-season are encouraging – capacities are filled 985, and this year they are expecting a growth of 10%.

Many of the guests are coming from EU, and UK and Scandinavian markets are opened. There is a great cooperation with Montenegro Airlines.

Markovic said that the Government shall continue with development projects, especially those that are set to increase competitiveness of Montenegrin tourism, such as bridge Verige, bypass road around Tivat and others.
