President of the board of the capital city for DPS Vladan Vucelic will not be a part of the team to lead DPS in the upcoming local elections in Podgorica, Pobjeda daily learns from several sources in the party.
Vucelic publicly objected to party’s attitude on water price increase.
“There are two options: to replace him as a director of the Water Supply, or marginalize him as a representative in the capital city so that he resigns himself”, the source said to Pobjeda daily.
Vucelic suggested water price increase four months ago, and then publicly criticized the decision of the capital city to not discuss this suggestion in the local parliament.
Conflict between the mayor Slavoljub Stijepovic and Vucelic was prevented by DPS’s clear decision to stand by Stijepovic.
DPS analysis show that they are falling behind the opposition in the capital city, so the preparations for elections must start earlier.
“It means that DPS must be united, with new people in important functions”, the source concluded.
