Bar resident Milorad Masonicic who was speeding in his car through the Sozina tunnel was fined €450 and sentenced to 25 days in prison, CdM learns.
The fines he earlier received for the same offence will also be converted into a prison sentence.
The Bar Police yesterday identified Masonic as a driver who was overtaking multiple vehicles at high speed in the Sozina tunnel, the video of which was shared on social media.
He has been earlier fined several times for speeding.

The Police Directorate stated that police took statement from M.M. on the circumstances of severe violation of the Law on Traffic Safety when he passed through the Sozina tunnel at high speed, overtaking several vehicles, as the video shows.
Due to such cases, police will submit to the competent authorities an initiative for amending the law in order to enable stricter sanctioning of such violations.
