The State Electoral Commission (DIK) should allow NGOs to inspect the signatures of support for certain presidential candidates, said DIK secretary Veljo Cadjenovic.

Several NGOs requested DIK to allow them to examine signatures because, as they suspect that they were forged or abused.

“I think we will make a decision at the session to allow them to come and see the signatures. In my opinion, nothing is controversial about that,” Cadjenovic told MINA agency.

He said opposition representatives in the DIK would support the request, but it all depends on the ruling majority.

According to Cadjenovic, until now 33 duplicate signatures have been found among the signatures of support.
