In his interview for Dan daily, Pajovic refused to reveal the names of the new members of Pozitivna, stating only that they will be elected through a democratic procedure among several candidates.
“For Pozitivna, in terms of cooperation, only those opposition political entities who believe Montenegrin independence is indisputable and who are committed to Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro, are interesting”, said Pajović.
When asked whether Pozitivna is ready to cooperate with the civic movement URA, since they have similar program basis, Pajovic said they are not going for the same voters.
“The idea that URA might take voters from Pozitivna is absurd. I did not read their programme, but I assume they copied key elements from Pozitivna. This makes us proud, because it promotes our ideas for the political scene. Another obstacle to cooperation are significant differences in our psychological profiles, which are also cultural differences, and those at the level of civilization”, he said.
Responding to a question whether he expects the SDP will split, and to which camp would which camp go, Pajović said he does not concern himself with the SDP.
“I don’t concern myself with them, just as I don’t care about other parties. I only care about Pozitivna; that’s all I am interested in. Let everyone deal with their problems within their party, on their own. We at Pozitivna today have a mission more important than ever, and that is to persevere in the difficult and painful path of true democratization of Montenegro”, he concluded.
