“Justification that it is a representative part of the coast is not valid. Monte Carlo is also a unique and representative place. It is clear that we lost a lot by this decision, the country will not collect taxes and there won’t be additional job opportunities in services business”, said Drecun.
Annex of the contract for the lease of hotel Kraljicina plaza prolongs the lease from 30 to 90 years for Greek company Adriatic properties and it allows it to build a new hotel on the place of the existing one, a four times bigger hotel with five or more stars. The plan is also to build 66 apartments in Milocer park. Approval of the Annex was prevented by members of SDP in the parliament who witheld their votes during the voting, and by that creating a new and old parliamentary majority with the opposition.
