On the Facebook page ‘Freedom requires people’, the official website of the organizers of protests, DF released footage showing the group of hooligans with masks and bats, allegedly coming from the headquarters of DPS in the old building of the Government. DF claims this group of people was tasked to attack demonstrators and wreak havoc around town on Saturday night.
In response to these arguments, DPS said the only truth is that DF’s hooligans tried several times during Saturday night to enter the headquarters of DPS, in which they were prevented by members of the police department and security of DPS.
“The only goal of footage with which DF is once again manipulating the public is to create an alibi for Andrija Mandic and his followers for the coup attempted on October 24th, and to try to save themselves from the revolt of their disgruntled supporters, who are publicly denouncing them”, DPS stressed.
According to them, DF has once again managed to deny themselves: on the recording, they indicated that “people with masks and bats” are allegedly coming out of the building at 22 hours and 10 minutes in order to “create havoc in the streets” and DF’s prompter and cameraman are very badly acting in their attempt to explain what it going on.
“The question for the authors of this pathetic lie is why would anyone, even if they wanted to, send someone to “cause trouble”, when ten minutes before that, Andrija Mandic and Slaven Radunovic already caused enough of it?”, concluded DPS in their reaction.
DF stated last night Veselin Veljovic is behind the group of masked men with bats, which he denied saying Front is now looking to blame someone else for their failures, using insinuations and delusions.
