UNIQA Insurance Group AG announced an increase in written premiums by 9.2 percent to around 6.0 billion euros, and earnings before taxes by 1 percent to 340 million euros in first 9 months. Andreas Brandstetter, CEO of UNIQA Insurance Group AG, pointed out that despite the enormous damage caused by floods in Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania, the Group achieved a solid result thanks to the company’s consistent strategy, which enabled UNIQA Insurance’s strong position in key markets and significantly increased the resilience of the technical result to negative impacts. The key aspects are profitable business growth in Central and Eastern Europe and strong sales results across the Group.
UNIQA Group also launched a new, “UNIQA 3.0 – Growing Impact” strategy, which is based on an even greater customer orientation reflecting the mission of UNIQA insurance: Living better together. The name of the strategy “Growing impact” means that UNIQA wants to be relevant in the daily lives of 17 million clients and translate further investments into greater customer satisfaction, growth and improved earnings. These goals will be achieved through further digitalization of offers and processes, new business models in health and sustainability, as well as as intensified, even more focused Group-wide collaboration.
