145,908 citizens have right to vote in Podgorica

The number of voters in the voter list for local elections in Podgorica on 27 July 2024 was 145,908, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced. President of Montenegro Jakov Milatovic announced early local elections for councilors in the Capital City Assembly for 29 September 2024.

The Ministry has recalled that the number of voters in the voter list in Podgorica, according to which the previous elections were held on 11 June 2023, was 144,095.

A voter can check the voter list in person, at the counters of the Regional Unit for Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners in Podgorica, on workdays (Monday-Friday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a valid ID card or travel document (passport), the Ministry explains. During the direct inspection, the voter can request to change the data entered in the voter’s list, the Ministry adds.

It recalls that voters can check the voter list either directly or via the internet portal www.biraci.me.
