In two separate operations, customs and police officers seized 21.5kg of marijuana at the Sukobin-Muricani and Vracenovici border crossings.
When checking a Renault car with Albanian registration plates driven by Z.R. (29) from Albania, customs and police officers spotted certain modifications under the back seat. They found a secret compartment embedded in the car floor with several marijuana packets, weighing 16kg in it,” the Customs Administration said.
Z.R., the vehicle and the drugs were taken over by officers of the border police of Albania.
On the same day, the customs and police officers at the Vracenovici border crossing seized 5.5kg of marijuana found in the Renault car with Podgorica registration plates driven by S.D. (55) from Podgorica.
S.D. was arrested and charged with unauthorised production, possession and selling of narcotics.
