There are 71,161 citizens and companies that use e-banking in Montenegro, the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) told Pobjeda daily.
“The total number of e-banking users was 66,534 in the end of 2018, while there were 43,626 mobile payments in the same period,” CBCG explained.
Even though the number of e-banking users has been gradually increasing, it’s still far from the developed countries such as Turkey, Sweden and Germany where e-banking is most popular.
In addition, the data show that in Montenegro this kind of service, which is faster and cheaper, mostly use the young.
