At the end of last year in Montenegro, 64 citizens were recorded to have deposits of over one million €.
“At the end of last year, 64 persons had deposits of over one million €. The highest individual deposit of the citizen in the banking system is 63,3 million €. In accordance with the article 84 of the Law on banks, we cannot say who are the owners of the million savings deposits”, the Central Bank said to “Dan”.
In comparison to the data recorded last year, the number of millionaires in Montenegro increased by ten, whereas the amount of the highest deposit account increased by almost 50 million €.
Total amount of deposits of the individuals and companies at the end of last year amounted to almost 3 billion €.
