72 decisions made: €35,300 paid from Alimony Fund

On the basis of 72 decisions passed by social work centers that recognized the right to temporary support for children, the Ministry of Finance, i.e. the Alimony Fund Department, paid €35,301.84. Out of that amount, €33,814.91 was paid for temporary support, while €1,252.84 was paid for the costs of the enforcement procedure, which were also acknowledged for children in the submitted decisions, the Ministry has announced.

When it comes to the structure of decisions by municipality, the largest number refers to the Social Work Center for the municipalities of Kotor, Tivat and Budva, regional unit Budva – 17 decisions, Podgorica – 13, Danilovgrad – 9, Bar – 8, Niksic – 7, Bijelo Polje – 5, Mojkovac – 4, Pljevlja – 3, Cetinje and Zeta – 2 each, Herceg Novi, Berane and Plav – one each.

“Temporary child support, based on 72 decisions, was paid for 90 children – 3 children under the age of 5, 44 children between the ages of 6 and 13, and 43 children between the ages of 14 and 18”, the Ministry points out.
