A sailor from Cetinje claims he had to disembark because he’s Montenegrin

Miroslav Pavićević

Cetinje resident Miroslav Pavicevic claims to have been forced to disembark from the ‘Maria Saveria’ ship and is now jobless because of captain Boris Popovic from Belgrade who doesn’t like the Montenegro people, particularly Cetinje residents.

According to him, captain Popovic, in defiance of the contract, gave him two jobs – he was supposed to work as a waiter and a sailor – which he couldn’t accept, as the contract with MSC company envisaged only the job of a sailor.

Mr Pavicevic tells CdM that ship employees believe that captain Popovic doesn’t like Montenegrins, especially Cetinje residents, so it’s logical, he thinks, that the inconvenience and terminated contract with the afore-mentioned company happened because of that.
