A total of €373 million to be invested in 13 projects

Government’s list of development projects in the area of tourism has been updated. Apart from 11 projects, another two tourist complexes have found their place on the list – Amma resort in Čanj and Black Pine hotel in Mojkovac. All 13 projects on the list are competitive for the economic citizenship program. Total value of projects is €373 million, which is one of the proofs that Montenegro is worth investing in.

AMMA RESORT

The Amma resort hotel complex will be built in Čanj, according to a mixed business model. It is worth €77 million and the investor will create as many as 241 new jobs within the five-star complex. The hotel complex has a total capacity of 483 accommodation units, 241 of which are in the hotel itself, and another 242 accommodation units are in eight luxury villas.

BLACK PINE

The Black Pine Hotel will be built in Mojkovac, according to the condo business model. The hotel will be a four-star category, with a total capacity of 174 accommodation units. The construction will cost €10.5 million, and the investor intends to create 144 jobs within the complex. Behind the Black Pine Hotel, as well as the Amma Resort, is the Čelebić group, owned by businessman Tomislav Čelebić.

DURMITOR HOTEL

The planned investments envisage a new guise for the former Durmitor Hotel in Žabljak, worth €20 million. The hotel, to be built by Durmitor Hotel and Villas, of Greek businessman Mr Petros Statis, will be a five-star category with 68 accommodation units. It will have 55 luxury SUITE units and 12 villas equipped with fireplaces and natural materials. Around 104 people will get a job within the hotel.

BOBOTOV HOTEL

The Bobotov hotel and resort complex, worth just over €16 million, will also be built in Zabljak. Plans are afoot for the construction of 160 accommodation units, 40 in the hotel itself, and another 120 within 40 villas. The investor plans to create 153 new jobs (90 permanent and 63 seasonal jobs).

KOLAŠIN RESORT & SPA

Most projects will be carried out in Kolašin, as many as seven. The first in a series of condo hotels under construction is Kolašin Resort & Spa, a four-star category. The hotel will have 93 accommodation units, and the project plans to create 66 new jobs. According to the business plan, investments are estimated at €11.5 million.

BREZA HOTEL

The Breza Hotel in Kolašin will also be built according to the condo business model. The hotel will be a five star category, with 148 accommodation units. It will also have a swimming pool with a spa center, restaurants, a conference room, Turkish baths, as well as a relaxation area. The value of the project is €19.5 million, and after the opening, 120 people will find a job. Construction of 160 apartments intended for sale is planned within the facility.

BJELASICA 1450 HOTEL

Hotel Bjelasica 1450, of four star category, will also be built in Kolašin. It will have 168 rooms, and it is planned to create 96 jobs within the hotel. The investment is worth almost €18 million. The work is carried out by Zetagradnja Company, owned by businessman Blagota Radović, and the hotel should open until the next winter season.

K16 HOTEL

A four-star hotel K16 will be built at the foot of Bjelasica. The total value of the project is €6 million. The hotel will have 116 accommodation units, and the intention of the investor is to create 58 new jobs within the hotel with a condo business model.

D HOTEL

Hotel D with annex E will be a four-star category, with a total capacity of 116 accommodation units. The estimated value of the investment envisaged for the economic citizenship program is around €8 million. The job should be given to 61 people throughout the year.

ELITE HOTEL

Elite Hotel & Residence will also be a four star category, with a capacity of 150 accommodation units. Around €11.5 million will be invested in this project, and 71 people will get a job in the hotel and will work throughout the year.

MONTIS COMPLEX

The future Montis Hotel & Resort hotel complex in Kolašin will have five stars, with an accommodation capacity of 238 units, 25 apartments and 213 rooms. The estimated value of the investment is projected at €21 million, and the investor intends to create 231 jobs within the complex.

QUEEN’S BEACH

Adriatic Properties Company has started building a complex that includes Queen’s Beach hotel, Sveti Stefan and Miločer, in which it will invest no less than €110 million. In accordance with the long-term lease agreement for the Queens’ Beach hotel, the construction of the hotel has been agreed with the five-star Adriatic Properties Company, with a capacity of 126 accommodation units. The planned investment in the construction of the hotel is €73 million, and so far more than €8 million have been invested in the project. Upon completion of the project, 229 people will get the job.

BOKA PLACE

The Boka Place Hotel, which will be part of Porto Montenegro, also took a place on the list of development projects. The hotel will be a five star category, with a capacity of 240 accommodation units. A total of €44million will be invested, and 96 people will get the job. Boka Place will offer a new wellness concept of life through 144 residential and 96 hotel units, under the operation of the hotel brand Kerzner International.
