A woman from Mojkovac made and donated 1.500 masks

Real heroes are born in tough times. Healthcare workers are definitely at the front.

Ms Mina Keker, a woman from Mojkovac, has a tailoring salon where people tailor masks and uniform to protect medical workers in Montenegro.

No rest for this diligent sewer. Solidarity and good will are priority in the current situation.

“Tailoring masks is not difficult. I call my colleagues to go to their shops and join us, make contribution. I believe we know solidarity”, Ms Keker says.

She shows that we can do a lot. As soon as she saw the situation is getting out of control, she started sewing.

“I have made 1,500 masks so far. I worked first for hospitals in Mojkovac, Bijelo Polje and Kolašin. I distributed some to people, and then we decided to give them to those who really need them. I am currently working for military factory. I make uniforms for doctors in Mojkovac, I will try to do the same for doctors in Kolašin”, Ms Keker says.

Will and readiness to help are there, but she’s concerned about the lack of material.

She called on the citizens who have useful material to share.
