At today’s government session, it was noted that the budget revision should be done as soon as possible. The Finance Minister, Aleksandar Damjanovic, said that he expected the Parliament of Montenegro to discuss it on 28 September. In addition, it was noted that the proposal for energy savings should be prepared and that money for drug procurement should be ensured.
Speaking about the energy-saving plans for the future, the Foreign Affairs Minister, Ranko Krivokapic, said that they “must adopt a comprehensive plan for power supply. Mr Krivokapic also urged the competent ministry to carry out a case-study on how “the electricity was used on the stock market”.
The Prime Minister also reflected on the situation with energy: “I think the Ministry of Capital Investments should prepare the proposal for energy savings as soon as possible. I’m not taking about households and physical persons, but at least for what’s in the public domain. I think we should try to be rational.”
At the session, the Minister of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism, Ana Novakovic Djurovic, said that the plot where construction of the ‘Children’s House’ is planned is in line with planning documentation.
