“The legal representative of the Bemax company, Zoran Piperovic, should complete his obligations to the state, which are not small, before moralizing about Bemax. He should help the state budgetꓼ he should first finish his obligations to the state and then he can continue to serve”, Prime Minister in technical mandate Dritan Abazovic has said. He has thus commented on Piperovic’s statement that Abazovic should support by evidence his allegations relating to the connection of the Bemax company, Ranko Ubovic and Zoran Lazovic with cigarette smuggling in the Port of Bar.
On 24 August, Piperovic handed over the initiative to the chief special state prosecutor Vladimir Novovic to investigate Abazovic’s allegations, stating that the prime minister made accusations of difficult qualifications in a technical mandate, and that he is therefore obliged to say how he confirms such findings.
Abazovic has said today, at the press conference after the thematic cabinet meeting on the tragic event in Cetinje on 12 August, that he believes that Piperovic, his “esteemed neighbor from Ulcinj”, “has a good appanage from the Bemax people for what he does”.
