The parliamentary Security and Defense Committee held a control hearing of the heads of the Government, police and Prosecutor’s Office in connection with the current case of seizure of about 500kg of cocaine, and it was decided to hold it in the “deaf room”.
DPM Dritan Abazovic was the first to come out of the deaf room, stating that they had received new information from the Special State Prosecutor’s Office regarding the case.
“They presented it to the Committee members. Things are a little clearer now. Everyone should do their job, I think my main message is that we should be happy and satisfied that so much cocaine fell in Montenegro”, stated Abazovic.
As the president of that body, Milan Knezevic, said after the Committee session, the security situation in the country is about to crack.
“The security situation is cracking, and the authorities cannot respond in the best way. It is inexplicable why double standards are applied and why the Criminal Procedure Code is being abused”, Knezevic said.
