Abazovic: Tunnel couldn’t have been dug without help of someone from High Court

Caretaker PM Dritan Abazovic has said that the tunnel that led to the depot of the High Court in Podgorica could not have been dug without the help of someone from that court.

Today, together with the Ministers of Justice and Internal Affairs, Marko Kovac and Filip Adzic, respectively, as well as the police leaders, Abazovic visited the apartment from which the tunnel was dug to the High Court.

“This is an undermining of the foundations of the state both in the essential and formal sense. We are on the right track for the investigation to show its success”, said Abazovic, answering questions from journalists.

He has added that the mafia, no matter how financially strong it is and how much help it has from the institutions of the system, including the judiciary, will not defeat Montenegro.

According to Abazovic, the tunnel began to be dug at the end of July, at the same time as the renovation of the High Court building began.

“I don’t want to talk about people personally, I want the investigation to be brought to an end, several people are involved”, Abazovic has stressed.
