Economic development cannot function without the rule of law and vice versa, says Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic. He adds that the biggest concern in this regard is the north of the country.

At the event called Talking Openly with the Prime Minister, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro (AmCham), Abazovic has said that with the opening of new tourist markets, some tourists will be redirected to the north.

“Along with that, there are important infrastructure projects, among which is the highway completion”, Abazovic has stated. He has added that the airport in Berane should also be put into operation.

According to him, the implementation of many projects requires the support of local municipalities, which are expected not to obstruct, if they cannot help.

Abazovic has also said that the current government will be the most open of all so far and that it will always be ready for dialogue.

He has pointed out that Montenegro has never been closer to the European Union, that they have started talks with all investors in Montenegro and that everyone who wants to work will have support.
