The members of the fifth contingent of Montenegro’s Armed Forces (VCG) that are currently in the mission in Afghanistan were awarded NATO medals.
Commander of the Regional Command North, general Andre Bodeman, awarded NATO medal for the successful performance of duties to the contingent members who have been engaged in the mission since September 2016.
“In addition to personal and professional recognition to the contingent members, medals also represent recognition to VCG for their contribution to building and maintaining peace in Afghanistan,” the Defence Ministry stated.
