Podgorica-based Capital Invest Ltd did not earn a single euro from drafting the spatial planning documents or any other work done based on decisions of any state body, Capital Invest CEO Radisav Jovovic said in a letter which published on the website of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK).
Jovovic sent the letter (seen by CdM9 to the ASK after the agency and the Special State Prosecutor’s Office dismissed complaints previously submitted by the KOD organisation as unfounded. The KOD complained against alleged conflict of interest in the development of a spatial plan for the Prokletije national park.
Jovovic explains in the letter that there have never been any legal or financial transactions between the state of Montenegro and Capital Invest. The company hasn’t earned a single euro either directly or indirectly through any business with the state, either as a contractor or a subcontractor.
Jovovic offered to submit all financial documentation of the company, an audit report and any other evidence that supports his claims.
