American citizen Brian Scott is supposed to testify in the attempted terrorism case trial by the end of the month, Dnevne Novine learns. The executive manager of the Patriot Defense Group (PDG) company, whom DF addressed for logistical help during the attempted terrorist attack in October last year, will witness despite all the obstruction of the trial by defence attorneys and defendants.
Scott is the first of eight witnesses to testify after Sasa Sindjelic’s testimony is finished, which started on 25 October last year.
Scott’s testimony via video link was scheduled for 6 December, but it was postponed. Precise date of his testimony could not be scheduled since Sindjelic’s hearing was ongoing. Scott has already been questioned by US investigative authorities and the report from the hearing was earlier sent to the Special State Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the report, Scott said that Joseph Asad, former CIA operative, addressed him with the request to provide assistance to The Democratic Front political party in Montenegro.
