There are some of our nationals on the south of Israel, where currently is safe, but they expressed the desire to return to Montenegro so we ensured that they may cross the border to Jordan by land. They’re going to get their visas at the border and then get transported to the nearest airport in Jordan, then to Montenegro with a commercial flight, most likely during the day, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Robert Markic, said.

Speaking in a TV show ‘Good Morning Montenegro’, Mr Markic noted that a total of 50 Montenegro nationals were evacuated from Israel today.

“Montenegro managed to evacuate 50 of its nationals who expressed their desire to get back to Montenegro. There were a total of 101 passengers, of whom 50 Montenegro nationals and 51 foreigners. We’re having nationals of the United States, Sweden, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Croatia, Albania and Kosovo”.

The number of our nationals who called and tried to get help, as he added, was higher.
