Apartments better sold than land plots

The sale of land plots for the construction of houses in Montenegro significantly weakened after the investment boom, which has not changed until now. Real estate agencies say that apartments are better sold than land plots.

No major changes are expected in the coming period, as the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction, which was adopted on 30 September, neither stimulates nor discourages building houses in comparison to the previous one.

Marketing manager at the Sandier, a specialised portal for free real estate advertising, Began Batricevic says that demand for land plots is declining.

“At the territory of Podgorica, the demand for land plots is falling. Homes, offices and ready-made homes are being sought. Plots are more purchased in rural areas,” says Batricevic.
