Montenegro’s Ministry of Defense has made a deal with the Belgrade company Damiba on the purchase of four new drones, whereas the delivery is expected to happen in the coming period. According to Pobjeda daily, the Ministry announced the €322.000 tender for the procurement of new drones last year.
The drones, the Ministry of Defense added, will be used for the training of members of the Army of Montenegro.
“In addition, they will be used for search and rescue within the Army’s third mission (assistance to civic institutions)”.
They also point out that the Army has 13 commercial drones in total, all of which are used solely for the training of soldiers and needs of the Army’s third mission.
