According to the data provided by the Central Bank of Montenegro, reserve requirement amounted 259.342.000 EUR.
Around 56,3% was intended for reserve requirement of banks in the country, and 43,7% on the accounts abroad.
Average deposits account, which is the basis for the calculation of reserve requirement, amounted 3,46 billion EUR last month. Around 66% refers to demand deposits and 34% refers to term deposits.
Deposits of companies were at the highest level and amounted 1,14 billion EUR.
